 Are made using wefts. A weft is hair that is sewn together. Shown here is the first stitching. Next the edge is folded over to make what we call single density (1/d). Then, the single density wefts are sewn together to create double (2/d) or triple (3/d) or even quadruple (4/d) density wefts. The side pieces are always double density. (More about this in the Designs & Lengths section.)

You will need a 7 piece set if you want to add only volume.
