Kassidy Meyer, a 5th Grader from HJM Elementry, Port Lavaca, Texas did a very interesting science project. As she writes:
"I became interested in this project because every year after swimming season is over with I go to my hairdresser to have her take the green out of my hair. At my last appointment we began talking about what causes blonde hair to turn green.

My hairdresser told me that it was chlorine that was turning my hair green. I began doing some research to see if I could find out what chlorine had in it that was causing my hair to turn green.
What I found from the research is that Chlorine has nothing to do with my green hair ... "
